Hi. I'm Mary.
Whether I’m hiking to the next waterfall, diving for volleyballs in the sand, or swinging kettlebells & lifting weights in our garage gym, movement is my life. I’m proud to be middle-aged, healthy, happy, and I have absolutely no plans of slowing down.
I bring that exact same active longevity mindset to my clients. As a health coach and Physical Therapist with over 30 years of clinical experience, as well as a certification in Barbell Rehab Methods, I specialize in helping experienced lifters navigate their changing bodies. If you're tired of getting injured every time you try to return to training, I'm here to break that cycle.
My coaching helps you bridge the gap from medically cleared/discharged from physical therapy to gym performance, without wondering how to safely get back to what you used to do. Instead of relying on generic templates, your training will be based on clinical load management rules and your feedback. I start with an initial virtual meetup, allowing me to program personalized weekly training plans you can complete on your own schedule. My mission is to give you a bulletproof, evidence-based path back to the barbell so you can reclaim your strength and live life entirely on your terms.
Additionally, I provide health coaching with a primary focus on sleep, stress management and recovery, because injuries aren't the only thing that can hold back strength training. This is especially helpful if you want to train — now or in the future — but your system feels overloaded.
